Montenegro Grand Discovery Journey

After breakfast, depart for Lovćen National Park, a protected mountain area known for its dramatic landscapes, forested slopes, mountain peaks, and cultural heritage. The route continues to the Njegoš Mausoleum, located on Jezerski Vrh at 1,657 meters above sea level. Climb the 461 steps leading to the resting place of Petar II Petrović Njegoš, one of Montenegro’s most important rulers and poets, and enjoy panoramic views over the surrounding “Stone Sea” landscape.

The journey then follows the scenic mountain road toward Njeguši, including a stop at the famous “Doors of Heaven” viewpoint for photos. In the village, known as the birthplace of the Petrović royal dynasty, discover the traditions of Montenegrin cuisine, especially the local Njeguši prosciutto and cheese. Depending on your preference, enjoy a lunch break in Lovćen or dinner in Njeguši before returning to Cetinje for the evening.

After breakfast, depart from Cetinje for a full-day journey through Boka Bay. The route begins with a stop at the Brajići viewpoint overlooking the Adriatic coast and Fort Kosmač. Continue to Budva and explore the historic streets of Budva Old Town, known for its blend of Mediterranean architecture and restored stone buildings.

The tour then proceeds to Kotor, where you will walk through the UNESCO-protected Kotor Old Town and discover its ancient passages, squares, and historic atmosphere. Following a panoramic drive along the Bay of Kotor, arrive in Perast, a coastal town famous for its stone palaces, churches, and Adriatic heritage. From Perast, continue by boat to Our Lady of the Rocks and visit the historic church built in 1630, one of the cultural landmarks of Boka Bay.

Enjoy free time for lunch by the bay before returning along the scenic coastal road to Cetinje for the evening and dinner preparations.

After departure from Cetinje, continue toward the underground world of Lipa Cave, located near the Belveder viewpoint. Explore its 2.5 km network of passages filled with stalactites, underground lakes, and streams. As the first tourist show cave in Montenegro, it is visited with a guided tour, revealing its natural formations and cool underground environment.

After the cave visit, continue to the nearby rural area to the estate of the Vukmirović family, known for viticulture and beekeeping. Walk through vineyards and fruit gardens before learning about traditional honey production methods. In the setting of a traditional Montenegrin house, taste local liqueurs and wines, followed by a selection of traditional dishes.

Return to Cetinje in the evening.

Depart from Cetinje and begin the journey along the Montenegrin coast with a panoramic stop overlooking Sveti Stefan. There is an optional opportunity to visit the island resort from the inside. Continue to Reževići Monastery and explore its monastery complex, including the churches of the Assumption of the Holy Virgin and the Holy Trinity, known for their frescoes and gardens.

The route continues through Petrovac Gora with several scenic viewpoints before heading inland toward Lake Skadar and the historic fishing village of Virpazar. From Virpazar, embark on a boat trip across the lake, passing through landscapes rich in birdlife, fish, and native plant species. Lunch on board is available as an optional experience during the cruise.

Return to Cetinje in time for dinner.

After breakfast, have some time for packing and check-out before the transfer from Cetinje to the airport for departure.
