Step into the authentic side of Montenegro, where quiet villages, preserved traditions, and warm local hospitality shape a journey filled with stories, homemade flavors, and meaningful human connections far from crowded tourist routes. Rooted in rural life, it reveals a way of living where food, culture, and nature remain deeply intertwined.

The route unfolds from Podgorica toward Žabljak and Durmitor National Park, including the Tara River Canyon, Black Lake, and traditional northern villages known for their heritage and lifestyle. Each day brings visits to farms, rural households, wineries, and important villages, set among glacial lakes, rivers, forest trails, and panoramic viewpoints that highlight the country’s natural and cultural richness.

Days follow a flexible rhythm shaped by your preferences, combining scenic walks through forests and around lakes with time in villages and nature. Hello, I am Nino, licenced tourist guide from Podgorica. I was born and all my life I have been living in Podgorica, the capital of Montenegro. For many years now I have worked in travel industry, having specially focused on hosting and showing my small but beautiful country to the foreign people. Thanks to all the jobs I did in the past I can say that I am very familiar with all Montenegrin hidden gems. Moreover, since I am very interested in music, nature and volunteering I organized many cultural events, music concerts, poetry nights… My passion is also birds and learning about flora & fauna. It is my everyday hobby. So I came to an idea to combine some of my experiences and to offer different and relaxing experiences to my guests. Welcome to Montenegro!
