A route that begins by the sea, climbs through heritage towns, and opens into mountain and lake scenery. The journey is structured as a continuous progression from coastal landmarks toward Montenegro’s inland cultural and natural highlights.
The route starts along the Adriatic coast in Budva, continuing to the medieval streets of Kotor Old Town and the panoramic setting of the Bay of Kotor. It then moves through the historic atmosphere of Perast with a boat visit to Our Lady of the Rocks, before reaching modern waterfront elegance at Porto Montenegro.
The route continues inland toward the royal heritage of Cetinje and the heights of Lovćen National Park, including the Njegoš Mausoleum and the traditional village of Njeguši. From there, the landscape opens toward the water world of Lake Skadar and the village of Virpazar.
