Set your own pace on this self-guided hiking journey through the Zagori region and the Pindus Mountains, where well-marked trails, traditional stone villages, and dramatic mountain landscapes create an unforgettable adventure. Designed for experienced hikers, the tour offers the freedom of independent travel with the reassurance of carefully arranged logistics.

Starting in Tsepelovo, the route takes you through traditional Zagori villages and along ancient stone paths and historic bridges, leading to the spectacular Vikos Gorge. From there, continue upward into the alpine landscapes of Mt. Timfi, where the trail rewards you with the serene Drakolimni Lake and an overnight stay at the Astraka Mountain Refuge before returning to Tsepelovo.

A briefing with your guide at the start of the tour prepares you for each stage, while luggage transfers and pre-arranged accommodation let you focus entirely on the trail. Walk independently through the heart of the North Pindos National Park and enjoy each day at a rhythm that suits you.
