Hidden in the mountains of northern Greece, this journey reveals the untouched beauty of Zagori, where stone villages, arched bridges, and ancient paths connect dramatic natural landscapes of highlands, canyons, and alpine scenery rarely found on modern travel maps.

You follow historic trails linking Zagori villages and valleys, crossing Vikos Gorge, descending to Voidomatis Springs, and passing beneath the Papingo Towers. The route continues across high plateaus toward Drakolimni, through Megas Lakos canyon, and over the Vradeto plains with its stone steps and viewpoints opening wide mountain panoramas. The highest point of the journey is around 2,050 meters above sea level near Drakolimni on Mount Timfi, offering a true high-altitude hiking experience.

The journey combines trekking along mountain paths and old routes with stays in traditional villages and a mountain refuge, supported by transfers and rest stops that connect each stage into a continuous exploration of the region’s natural and cultural landscape.
