I really believe I am lucky for being born and living in this attractive country, Albania. Passionate about the wild nature, fascinating history, and mindblowing traditions and local rules, I would be happy to welcome you to Albania and share all this beauty with you and show you around. In the 7 last year I have been exploring my country and working as a tour guide, hotel manager and welcoming service. From all my little experience so far have understood that tourism and promoting my country is something I love and enjoy so I believe I would never get tired of this. Despite my job position, I can not promise you will find me always in the office. I really enjoy guiding and highly participate in Hiking Guides around the Albanian Alps or Peaks of Balkans. Also, we travel quite a lot in cultural sites of Albania and UNESCO sites, so there is a good chance of seeing each other inside a museum, or somewhere in the evening for a Raki! Gezuar! 🙂

Route details

Be ready to leave Tirana at 09:00 and head west toward the Adriatic coast. Arrive in Durrës — one of the oldest cities in Albania, often called an open book of history. Walk through the ancient streets. Step inside the impressive Roman Amphitheatre — one of the largest in the Balkans. Explore the medieval walls and stroll through the historic center where past and present blend seamlessly.

Leave the coast behind and drive south toward Berat — a UNESCO World Heritage site and one of Albania’s most beautiful cities. Discover its three iconic quarters: Kala, Mangalem and Gorica. Wander through narrow cobbled streets, admire the Ottoman houses climbing up the hillside and feel the authentic atmosphere.

Visit the Orthodox Monastery “Dormition of Saint Mary” and the Onufri Museum of Iconography, home to remarkable 16th-century icons.

It's important to know

In case of booking cancellation the next policy applies. Tourists will receive a full amount they paid for the reservation in case they cancel more than 35 days in advance of the tour start date. In the event of cancellation within the period of 34 to 16 days before the tour start date - they are entitled to receive 50% of the booking amount. Cancelations made within 15 days before the tour starts will not be entitled to a refund.
