Route details

Your journey begins early in the morning. At 07:00, our friendly team will greet you in front of Hotel Princess (Trimoncium) in Plovdiv, or from a pre-arranged location. If you're joining us from Sofia, expect a warm welcome at 09:00, behind the iconic Alexander Nevsky Cathedral.

Around 12:30, we arrive at the captivating Venetsa Cave, tucked near the quiet village of Oreshets. Here, you’ll step into a world of dazzling rock formations, glowing with natural colors and crystal shapes.

Afterwards, take in the fresh mountain air with a scenic picnic lunch, surrounded by the serene beauty of the northwest Bulgarian countryside.

By 15:00, we’ll explore the legendary Belogradchik Fortress, a stronghold with roots in Roman history, dramatically built into the base of the towering Belogradchik Cliffs. Rising over 100 meters high, these natural stone sculptures stretch across 5,000m², taking the shapes of animals, people, and mythical creatures.

As the day winds down, we check in at a cozy hotel in the area, giving you time to relax and settle in. Come evening, enjoy a delightful dinner in a traditional setting, where you’ll taste regional specialties and unwind in a warm, rustic atmosphere.
