Hi, I’m Kostas. I grew up exploring the mountains of Greece, and over time this became a lifelong passion that has taken me to mountain regions around the world. Today, I design and run multi-day hiking and biking tours across some of the most beautiful and lesser-known areas of Greece, especially in the Pindus Mountains and Zagori. My goal is simple: to offer more than just a route. I want each journey to reflect my personal approach to hiking and biking — moving at a natural pace, connecting with the landscape, and experiencing the culture along the way. From cobbled paths and stone bridges to local food and everyday life in the villages, every detail is part of the experience. Whether you join a guided group or travel at your own pace, I’m always behind the scenes (and often on the trail) making sure everything feels smooth, authentic, and well taken care of. Looking forward to welcoming you on the trail. — Kostas

Route details

Day 1
Walk Into the Mythic Forests of Olympus

Leave the energy of Thessaloniki behind and journey south toward the legendary slopes of Mount Olympus. Arrive in Litochoro, the mountain village where sea breezes fade into alpine air, and prepare to step onto one of Greece’s most iconic trails.

Follow forest paths beneath towering pine and beech trees as the landscape gradually transforms into deep ravines and hidden mountain valleys. Listen to the sound of rushing streams, breathe in the scent of wild herbs, and feel the silence of Olympus settle around you with every step.

Climb steadily through shaded woodland trails where sunlight filters through the canopy in golden beams. Pass remote corners of the mountain untouched by time and discover why Olympus has inspired myths, pilgrims, and explorers for centuries.

Reach Koromilia Refuge, tucked high among the trees in a peaceful mountain setting. Settle into the refuge, share a warm meal with fellow hikers, and watch dusk fall over the forests as your adventure into the heart of Olympus truly begins.
