Olympus High Peaks Adventure

Begin your trek on the northern slopes of Mount Olympus, following mountain trails through dense forest landscapes. Along the route, enjoy views of the Aegean Sea and the surrounding alpine scenery before reaching Petrostrouga Refuge, a scenic viewpoint overlooking the coastline. Continue into the high-altitude terrain of Olympus and arrive at the Muses Plateau, where the dramatic peak of Stefani, known as the Throne of Zeus, dominates the skyline. Overnight stay at a mountain refuge.

Set out for a memorable day among the highest summits of Mount Olympus, reaching elevations of up to 2,911 meters. Follow mountain trails beneath the towering cliffs of Mytikas (2,918 m) and Stefani (2,909 m), two of the mountain’s most iconic peaks, while taking in the dramatic alpine scenery of the Muses Plateau. After completing the hike, continue to Refuge A, the first mountain refuge established on Mount Olympus, for an overnight stay.

Depart from Refuge A and begin a scenic descent through the landscapes of Mount Olympus. The route leads to Prionia, where you will stop for lunch before continuing along the Enipeas River. Follow forest trails beside the river, with an opportunity to enjoy a refreshing swim, and conclude the hike at the historic Agios Dionysios Monastery, one of the region’s most important religious landmarks.
