Climb above the earth in Meteora, where giant stone pillars rise into the sky and centuries-old monasteries cling to impossible cliffs. This journey links three worlds into one flowing trail through mountains, lakes, and timeless villages.

Trace Meteora Rocks – the “columns of the sky”, then enter Zagori, a UNESCO Cultural Landscape of stone villages and arched bridges, where cobbled paths lead into alpine valleys. Stand above the edge of the Vikos Gorge, climb to Dragon Lake in the peaks of Mount Tymfi, and cross famous stone bridges past hidden Orthodox churches and monasteries. Taste herb pies and tsipouro in mountain villages, discover the Askitaria caves, and end by the tranquil Prespes Lakes.

Designed for active travelers, this route blends moderate to challenging hikes with comfort in carefully selected guesthouses and boutique stays. Ideal for those seeking immersive nature, authentic culture, and a fully supported small-group journey with local hospitality throughout.

The provider speaks: English
Hi, I’m Kostas. I grew up exploring the mountains of Greece, and over time this became a lifelong passion that has taken me to mountain regions around the world. Today, I design and run multi-day hiking and biking tours across some of the most beautiful and lesser-known areas of Greece, especially in the Pindus Mountains and Zagori. My goal is simple: to offer more than just a route. I want each journey to reflect my personal approach to hiking and biking — moving at a natural pace, connecting with the landscape, and experiencing the culture along the way. From cobbled paths and stone bridges to local food and everyday life in the villages, every detail is part of the experience. Whether you join a guided group or travel at your own pace, I’m always behind the scenes (and often on the trail) making sure everything feels smooth, authentic, and well taken care of. Looking forward to welcoming you on the trail. — Kostas
