Route details

At 09:00, the tour starts from the parking lot behind Alexander Nevsky Cathedral in Sofia. The trip to the town of Kazanlak lasts about 2.5 hours through lush countryside.

From 11:30 to 12:30, you visit the Kazanlak Tomb, one of the most impressive monuments of the Thracian civilization in the Valley of the Thracian Kings. 

From 13:00 to 13:30, you discover the tomb of Seuthes III

From 14:00 to 15:00, you have lunch and relax in a local restaurant while enjoying delicious food, fine wine, and a lovely atmosphere.

From 15:00 to 16:30, you spend an enjoyable afternoon at the Architectural and Ethnographic Complex Damascena, where the legends of Orpheus come to life. 

At 16:30, you head back to Sofia.

At 19:00, you are expected to arrive in Sofia at the parking lot behind Alexander Nevsky Cathedral.
