This tour takes you deep into the mysterious Rhodope Mountains to explore two of its most famous caves — Devil’s Throat and Yagodinska.
Devil’s Throat is famous for having the largest waterfall inside a cave on the Balkan Peninsula and is connected to the legend of Orpheus, the Thracian singer who tried to rescue his beloved Euridice from the Underworld. Yagodinska Cave is one of the longest caves in Bulgaria, stretching over 10,500 meters. Visitors explore the lowest level, which was electrified and opened to tourists in the 1970s and 1980s.
Optionally, you can enjoy a jeep trek to the Eagle’s Eye, a viewpoint built on a rock edge 1,563 meters above sea level. Considered one of the meccas for photographers, the platform offers stunning views of the Western Rhodope Mountains.
The tour is perfect for nature lovers, adventure seekers, and anyone who wants to see Bulgaria's natural wonders.
