The journey begins in Tirana and heads north through alpine landscapes to Shkodra, where history and local culture come alive. The route continues with visits to Kruja’s castle and bazaar before ending in the coastal city of Durres.

Travel is arranged in a small group with a local English-speaking guide, using comfortable transport and selected accommodations. The pace allows for sightseeing, short walks, and optional light activities, with overnight stays in comfortable hotels, making the experience immersive and easy to enjoy.

I really believe I am lucky for being born and living in this attractive country, Albania. Passionate about the wild nature, fascinating history, and mindblowing traditions and local rules, I would be happy to welcome you to Albania and share all this beauty with you and show you around. In the 7 last year I have been exploring my country and working as a tour guide, hotel manager and welcoming service. From all my little experience so far have understood that tourism and promoting my country is something I love and enjoy so I believe I would never get tired of this. Despite my job position, I can not promise you will find me always in the office. I really enjoy guiding and highly participate in Hiking Guides around the Albanian Alps or Peaks of Balkans. Also, we travel quite a lot in cultural sites of Albania and UNESCO sites, so there is a good chance of seeing each other inside a museum, or somewhere in the evening for a Raki! Gezuar! 🙂

Route details

The day begins with an early departure from Tirana as we head north toward Theth, a secluded mountain village tucked away in the heart of the Albanian Alps. Known for its wild landscapes and unspoiled nature, this region is one of the country’s most impressive areas for nature lovers and adventure seekers.

Upon arrival, we explore the highlights of Theth, including the Grunas Waterfall, reached by a short and easy walk, and the Lock-In Tower (Kulla e Ngujimit), a striking monument that reflects the region’s traditional code and history. For those who wish, there is an optional visit to the Blue Eye of Theth — a crystal-clear natural pool famous for its intense turquoise color.

In the late afternoon, we continue our journey toward Shkodra. Here, we take a relaxed walk through the historic center, discovering the city’s main sights and getting a feel for one of Albania’s oldest and most atmospheric cities.

In case of booking cancellation the next policy applies. Tourists will receive a full amount they paid for the reservation in case they cancel more than 35 days in advance of the tour start date. In the event of cancellation within the period of 34 to 16 days before the tour start date - they are entitled to receive 50% of the booking amount. Cancelations made within 15 days before the tour starts will not be entitled to a refund.
