Route details

Day 1
Walk Above the Blue Lagoon

Arrive in Dalaman or Fethiye and feel the rhythm of the Mediterranean coast settle in from the very first moments. Meet your fellow hikers, leave the city behind, and drive toward Ovacık, where the legendary Lycian Way begins beneath the towering slopes of Babadağ Mountain.

Start your hike along ancient mountain paths and climb gradually above the shimmering coastline. Pause often, breathe in the scent of pine forests, and watch the turquoise waters of the Ölüdeniz Lagoon unfold farther with every step.

Reach the quiet mountain village of Kozağaç for a traditional local lunch surrounded by rustic stone houses and olive trees. Then continue through peaceful forest trails toward Kirme, where the golden afternoon light paints the hills in deep Mediterranean colors.

After the hike, transfer to Faralya and unwind with dinner overlooking the sea cliffs. Listen to the evening silence of the Lycian Coast and settle into your accommodation surrounded by nature.
