From the saddle of a bike, every detail comes closer—views, people, flavors, and traditions reveal themselves at eye level. Since 2008, I have been creating cycling and hiking journeys across Romania’s historic regions, always infused with a sense of traveling back in time. Route details

Day 1
Arrive in Berca and Begin the Journey

Choose an optional transfer from Bucharest, or make your own way through the countryside. Watch the scenery shift from urban edges to open fields and forested ridges.

Arrive in Berca village, a quiet corner tucked between rolling hills and winding rivers, just 130 km from Bucharest. Leave the city behind, breathe in the slower rhythm, and settle into your surroundings.

Meet your guides, gather with the group, and step into the journey ahead. Listen, ask, imagine—trace the routes you’ll ride and the landscapes you’ll cross in the days to come.

Unwind, arrive fully, and ease into the first evening. Share a welcome dinner, taste local flavors, and spend the night in Berca.
