Greek Icons: Athens, Mykonos & Santorini

Begin the day with a guided exploration of Athens’ historic center. Starting at Syntagma Square, walk past the Old Hellenic Parliament and continue through the districts that spread beneath the Acropolis.

The tour then leads to the Acropolis, Athens’ most iconic archaeological site. Explore the ancient citadel and the Parthenon while enjoying panoramic views over the city, the surrounding hills, and the Saronic Gulf.

Later, discover another side of Athens on a food-focused walking experience through central neighborhoods. Following a less-traveled route, visit a variety of specialty food shops and sample local flavors while gaining insight into the city’s culinary traditions.

After breakfast, transfer to the island of Mykonos in the Aegean Sea and settle into your accommodation. The remainder of the day is dedicated to exploring Mykonos Town and its distinctive Cycladic character.

Stroll through the town’s maze-like streets, where traditional Cycladic architecture blends with the island’s modern atmosphere. Take time to explore the local surroundings, browse cafés and boutiques, or relax by the waterfront.

In the evening, you may choose to experience Mykonos’ lively dining scene along the main promenade or enjoy a quieter setting in one of the island’s villages while sampling traditional Mediterranean mezze.

Depart from Mykonos in the morning and cruise across the Aegean Sea to Rhenia Island. Upon arrival, enjoy free time to swim, relax by the beach, and savor a homemade Greek lunch on board.

In the afternoon, continue to the island of Delos, one of Greece’s most important archaeological sites and the legendary birthplace of Apollo. Explore the ancient ruins and learn about the island’s historical significance. Guests who prefer not to visit the archaeological site may spend additional time swimming and relaxing at a nearby beach.

Later in the day, return by boat to Mykonos.

After breakfast, transfer to the marina and board a hydrofoil bound for Santorini. As you approach the island, take in views of its distinctive crescent-shaped coastline, dramatic caldera, and towering cliffs rising above the Aegean Sea. From the harbor, the volcanic peak that helped shape Santorini’s landscape can be seen in the distance.

Upon arrival, meet your transfer and travel to your hotel. The remainder of the day is at leisure to settle in and enjoy the island’s iconic scenery, characterized by whitewashed buildings, blue-domed rooftops, and sweeping views across the caldera and volcanic rim.

Spend the day exploring some of Santorini’s most celebrated locations. Discover the lively atmosphere of Fira and the traditional character of Oia, with time to wander through their streets, browse local boutiques, and visit traditional tavernas.

In the evening, board a catamaran for a cruise around the caldera. Sail past secluded coves and quiet beaches while taking in views of the island from the water. The experience concludes with the renowned Santorini sunset, viewed from the sea as the light fades over the caldera.

Enjoy a final morning on Santorini before your departure. Take a stroll through the marble-paved streets of Oia, browse local shops for souvenirs, or spend some time by the sea before leaving the island.

Later, transfer to the airport for your flight to Athens and onward journey home, bringing your Greek island adventure to a close.
