Route details
At 07:30, the tour begins at the parking lot behind Alexander Nevsky Cathedral (or your prearranged pick-up point) and departs for Krastova Gora in the Rhodope Mountains.
At 11:00, you arrive in Krastova Gora to visit the Church of the Intercession of the Holy Virgin and the “12 Apostles” chapels lining the stairway to the summit cross, followed by the chapels of St. John of Rila, the Three Saints, and St. Visarion of Smolyan.
At 12:30, enjoy a picnic amid the tranquil mountain scenery.
At 13:30, set off on an hour hike along a forest path to the Karadjov Stone, an ancient Thracian sanctuary.
At 14:30, begin the 2-hour trek to the Thracian cult site of Belintash, exploring its sacred rock formations.
At 16:30, board the bus and depart Krastova Gora for Sofia.
At 20:00, arrive back at the parking lot behind Alexander Nevsky Cathedral (or your requested drop-off point).
