Route details
In the morning, meet your guide at the Inter Expo Center metro station (Tsarigradsko Shose), or at your pre‑arranged pick‑up point.
Then travel for about 1.5 hours through rolling countryside to the Three Buki trailhead.
Upon arrival, begin your hike and reach Prevala Shelter, where you can rest.
Next, continue for about 1 hour to Hat Shelter and its nearby minor peaks.
Then press on for another 30-45 minutes to Ruen Shelter, before ascending to the summit for panoramic views over Bulgaria, North Macedonia, Serbia, and Mount Olympus.
Afterwards, descend back along the same trail to the Three Buki area and return by coach to Sofia.
