Route details
You arrive at the equestrian centre by 8:45 and saddle up for a 9:00 departure. The morning’s ride takes you down into the valley, through Toplica village, home to Bosnia’s oldest tombstone, and up forest tracks with trotting and cantering.
Around midday, you cross a small river to reach a lunch spot on the Lepanica River. For groups of 3 or more, we provide a fresh fish barbecue on the riverbank.
After lunch, relax on the grass, explore the forest, or take a dip in the river while the horses rest.
In the afternoon you climb to the “One-Man” Village for panoramic mountain views, then wind back down through the valley toward the ranch. You arrive back around 17:00-18:00, having spent approximately 6-7 hours in the saddle.
This ride is suitable for riders with some experience and a good fitness level.
Note: A shorter route is available if you would prefer an easier option.
